Happy Papa's Day!

Sonja and I missed our Papas last weekend, so we sent them this message via email. Doug is in B.C. and getting ready to walk down to the Taku River tomorrow morning with this year's batch of students, and my Papa is in Scotland for a walking meditation on the olde country.

Memorial Weekend in Thermopolis, Wyoming

We spent Memorial holiday in Thermopolis, Wyoming with Doug's family. We went fishing and hiking, soaked in the hot pools, played a rowdy game of croquet with Doug's cousins...




..and best of all we finally met our new nephew & cousin Samson James Hahn. He was born April 29th, and is the spitting image of his dad Matt.

First campout of the season

We met our friends Max and Nicole and their baby Sylvia on the Selway River last month. It was our first campout of the season, and Sonja enjoyed everything from cooking hot dogs over the fire to throwing rocks in the river.
